Anyone been there? What hotel did you stay in? Did you like it?

What did you do? What would you recommend?

It will be DH, Me, DD 13 and DS 11.

We plan to go in July. How far in advance should we book?

DH and I went twice a couple of years ago. We stayed as guest of a friend in the Divi Beach Club condos. We had a 1 bedroom unit and just loved it. It wasn't all inclusive but was right across the road from the beach. An easy walk and the Divi has golf cart shuttles that run between their properties and to one of the casino's all of the time.

We also stayed at the Bucuti Beach Resort which is basically an adults only hotel. It's just down the road from the Divi and just behind the Alhambra Casino. Loved it! Was quiet and was right on the beach.

Both of these properties are on Eagle Beach in the "low rise" area. This area has lots of all inclusive properties and are right on the beach. There are several larger hotels farther down the beach but they are also very crowded. We drove around the island quite a bit, did an into to scuba class, walked the beach, went to the casino and shopped. We didn't take are kids so I can't help you there... Have a great time!

We booked the Bucuti almost a year in advance. If you haven't made reservations yet - you should do it soon.

Aruba Marriott Stellaris - Amazing!

My best friend is really into the beach and she went exactly a year ago for her honeymoon and stayed in the RIU. It looked really nice and she loved it. The pictures were awesome, as was the aloe products she brought me back. They went on some pretty cool excursions too.
