Do they still have the people that draw the portraits at the BC? If not, where else (not the cartoonish ones)? I've always wanted to get that done for my kids. Do you think they could combine pics to create one drawing, I wouldn't having one of all my kids as babies, or should I have one of them together at their various ages (now at 17,13 & 3, or 13, 9 & newborn) or induvidial ones?

What would come out best and how much would it all cost?

There is a lady at BC, although she isn't there all the time. There are also artists at GF. The easiest thing to do is to have a couple of pictures you can leave with the artist so they can work from that. The artists I've used have also wanted to see the children in person and make notes on their eye color, hair color, etc. I have had a portrait of each of my kids done when they were 18 months old and I just LOVE them! One was done by the lady at BC (Echo) and the other was done by a lady at GF (Svetlana) and they are both really good. When I had DS's done in Dec, '06 the cost was about $175. It was another $150 or so to get it framed once it was shipped to us. I think the costs go up as you have more people in the portraits, that was for a single. Hope that helps!
