What do you wear to Artist's Point. Dress for women required? My husband and are trying to get ressies there for Sept. Want to know what to wear to the dinner. Also, we're staying off site the night we're going. Will we have any trouble getting to the restaurant? We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge the next night, but not that one.

Thanks!

"Resort casual" is their stated dress code. I believe this means they might frown if you were to come in wearing swimwear & a cover-up, a torn t-shirt and ripped cut-offs, etc. Most of what you'd wear to the parks is fine. I've seen people who were more dressed up, but for the most part what I've seen is what most people would consider casual dress for work.

If you have a PS, the guard at the gate will have it on a list. They might give you a parking pass -- but then again they may not. You can also valet park for $6 (plus tip). You should have no problem getting to the restaurant that evening.

Have a great meal (I highly recommend the cedar plank salmon with the berry cobbler for dessert. You'll probably need to be "wheeled" back to your car, but it is so good and so worth it!)

DD15 and I ate there last week. We had an early dinner so the place was not crowded. At a table next to us was a couple celebrating their anniversary - they were very dressed up. My daughter wore kakhi capris and a black lace tank-style top. I wore black shorts and a fresh sleeveless cotton shirt. At another table, the family looked like they had come straight from the parks and were all wearing matching disney t-shirts. SO, you can wear anything. It's just whatever you feel comfortable doing. The level of service was excellent for all of us, regardless of what we were wearing!

AND the food is wonderful!::yes::

We dined at Artist Point in May. My dh wore nice khaki shorts and a button down shirt. I wore some linen capri pants with a matching top. We did see some folks in dressier clothing (dresses and docker type slacks) You won't feel out of place either way.

We LOVE Artist Point. The Chef's Selection menu is terrific and only $47 pp, which I think is a bargain considering the individual prices of the entrees, appetizers and desserts. You get soup, salad, choice of entree and choice of dessert. I highly recommend the Smoked Portabello Mushroom soup...it is incredible! And the Berry Cobbler....YUM YUM YUM!!!

Have a great time!

We wore jeans and t-shirts, just what we'd wear in the park. The salmon, steak and berry cobbler are yummy!!!1

Only thing really off limits would be bathing suits and tank-tops on men.
We always eat at AP theme park casual--which for us is nice walking shorts and brand-new Disney T's.
