I read someplace that they offered a Character breakfast. Is this anylonger offered? Thanks. When looking at the dining reservation section on WDW site, I didn't see the breakfast.

They don't have a character meal.

My very fuzzy memory seems to recall someone saying there was a character breakfast there many many years ago -- but that might not even be right.

We went to a characater bfast in 1998 at WL. It was Pooh and Friends But sadly, they don't offer it anymore

Thanks. It's what I just read about the other day. I guess old info. We will be staying there in Feb and my daughter wanted to take her son to a Pooh breakfast and the Crystal Palace is closed and the Pooh characters aren't going to be at Liberty Tavern for the timeframe.

1) It was such a nice character breakfast.
2) It had super character interaction.
3) Plus, due to the surroundings, it was so quiet for a character meal.
4) Thus, even the adults enjoyed the meal.
5) Alas, it was stopped in 2000.

^^^ Disney knows people love character meals. Why would they drop a character meal?

Disney dropped a character meal just this year (Liberty Tree Tavern). So it doesn't matter to them that people love them - or in the case of Artist Point, maybe not that many people loved trying to get to a resort that isn't on the monorail in the early morning for a character breakfast. A great many WDW guests don't have cars with them (Magical Express encourages guests to NOT rent cars), and I'd guess WDW did not want to offer early morning transportation to resorts that weren't otherwise easy to get to. Most character meals in outlying resorts were eliminated some time back (Olivia's used to have a character breakfast too). They kept them in some resorts that were in walking or monorail distance of a park.
