DH and I want to go over to SSR on our trip next month to see the AKV model rooms. We'll be heading over there between 5pm and 7pm so I thought we'd grab a bite to eat at Artist's Palette afterwards. Allears only has the breakfast and lunch menus. We're both vegetarians so I just want to be sure that at least one of the vegetarian items on the lunch menu (Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, Roasted Vegetable Sandwich) is available at dinner time as well. Otherwise I need to make an ADR somewhere for that night. Does anyone know if the dinner menu is the same as the lunch menu? Here is a link to the lunch menu: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_ssap.htm

I would opt for the Turf Club instead. We ate there once for lunch, and had a nice meal.
The only complaint my family had was the commode was about a mile away. Don't wait till the last second to go, as there's a long walk ahead! :teeth:

We're having a late lunch that day so I figure we'll want a light dinner. The menu at Artist's Palette sounded about right, provided they serve the same food at dinner. (I've been burned a few times by restaurants that have a good selection of vegetarian items at lunch and none at dinner.)

Thanks for the tip about the long walk to the restrooms from The Turf Club!

SSR is our home resort, and we absolutely love it. However, dining options there are, well, uninspired. To the best of my recollection, the lunch menu you posted looks like the same things that are available for dinner.

If you have the time in your schedule, I'd recommend taking the boat launch over to Downtown Disney and finding something much nicer.

Thanks for the info on the menu. I'm not sure we'll even be hungry for dinner since we're having a big lunch around 2:30pm that day. I'm tempted to forget dinner altogether and just head over to Ghirardelli's for some ice cream after we tour the AKV models but it's possible we will want to eat a little something by that time. I know we won't want a full dinner that night.

We'll need to go to DTD to get the bus back to VWL. If we opted to walk rather than take the boat, is the path well marked?

I personally love AP. They serve the same basics at lunch & dinner but have daily specials at all 3 meals.

We actually had some difficulty with the path on the two times we walked. You'd think it would be easy, but we weren't sure where to turn and wound up missing the path and having to walk down the street. But we found our way there.

Thanks. I guess we'll see how adventurous we're feeling that day!
