Artist Point

Does anyone have information on when Artist Point is opening? I read somewhere that it was going to be June 4, but it is not available for reservations yet.

I could not agree more. The new room is awful covering up those magnificent murals.

I never ate at the original, but I loved the new Snow White dining, the dwarves were great, and we really liked the food and drinks too!

To be fair, we haven't been to the new character meal. But loved the previous Artist Point,, was a must do nearly every trip. Obviously others didn't feel the same way. Loved the salmon.

To my knowledge no opening date has been announced. When Disney announced other restaurants that would be opening in the summer, including Tusker House, Artist Point was not included. Anything is possible but I don't see it opening in the near future. Definitely not June 4.

Agree completely! We had our 30th anniversary dinner there and it was perfect. From the time the manager escorted us to our lovely window side table and handed us our personalized menus, until our custom dessert cake, it was excellent. And yes, I had the cedar plank salmon, and yes, I loved it.

I remember fondly when my kids were little we would put them in the kids club at WL and have a romantic dinner at Artist Point. The chef would come out and talk to us and sometimes bring something special to try. What a great restaurant.
