Has anyone been to Artist Point in the past few weeks? Some of the menus available online only include 3 app choices. What I believe to be the most recent menu available (on disneys site) includes more choices, but I would imagine that the BLT and tomato salad would go the way of the fresh summer tomatoes soon.

Is there anyone who has been there in the past few weeks who can comment?

We dined at Artist Point this past Friday night. The menu on the Disney Dining website appears to be very close to what we had and there are quite a few appetizer selections..here's a link:

I can say that the crab was a crab cake and not a risotto (but delicious nonetheless), the mussels are to die for (sauce is so amazing) and we were given the mushroom soup as an amuse-bouche...it was also incredibly good.

Enjoy your dinner!! It is definitely one of the top restaurants in WDW!

NOTE: Artist Point was a highly respected and highly touted
eatery 2003-2007. Since that time it changed, and the food,
quality and menu uniqueness began to pale. They have lately
made changes to revive the quality of the food, the menu, and
service. It is getting really close to the reputation of the past. It
has now replaced Bistro de Paris on our list of eateries that we
patronize. And, we only eat at five of them.

As a postscript, if you eat there, get a window table. The view of
courtyard and lake are grand and romantic, versus just looking
at the rest of the dining room. Also, arrive early and have a drink
in the Territory Lounge. It and Mizner's are probably the two bars
at WDW for serentity, civility and atmosphere.

These were the appetizers from 10/1 menu:
- Smokey Portobello Soup with Roasted Shiitakes and Chive Oil
- Dungeness Crab Cake with Asian Slaw and Shaved Radish
- Kettle-steamed Penn Cove Mussels with Sourdough Panzanella
- Mixed Field Greens Salad with Shaved Stone Fruit, Sunflower Seed Granola, Rogue Creamery Blue Cheese, and Ice Wine Vinaigrette
- Artist Point "BLT" with Sweet Chili Lacquered Snake River Farm Pork Belly, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Vincotto , and Petit Greens
- A Selection of Artisanal Cheeses: Smokey Blue Cheese, Reypenaer VSOP, and "The Drunken Goat" with Seasonal Garnishes and Walnut Toast

There was also a seasonal salad with beet, apple and goat cheese with walnut/cherry dressing.
