So we decided to visit Artist Point this trip. What is the appropriate clothing for a man? We have eaten at California Grill several times and I want to say he has worn nice khaki shorts with a collared shirt. Or maybe he wore khaki pants. Can't remember. Any comments and thoughts on this would be appreciated. I usually where some nice capris and a nice shirt to Cali Grill and figure that would be okay. We do plan to go straight to MK after dinner. So we need something that is appropriate for AP but theme park wearable too.

TIA!

I've worn nice shorts and polo shirt (female version) to Artist Point and not felt out of place. You should be good with that, then you are set for the theme park after dinner

Mike took me there for a surprise birthday dinner a couple of years ago. It was December and we were all wearing jeans. I think your Cali Grill attire would be fine.

we went in Dec and my dad wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt. He wears similiar clothes to the park like that. He did not feel out of place. We had a 5:40 ADR and other men were wearing similar clothing! Enjoy, the food was amazing!

We went this past December for dinner and found Artist Point a bit too relaxed on the dress code. Tanks, tees, and baseball caps, were numerous. Not quite what I was expecting. While we enjoyed our meal quite a bit, it seemed more like a counter service restaurant. We still plan on returning but thought you might like to know.

I thought it was pretty mixed. Some people were dressed up, others were very casual. I went there in December 2008 and I'm still thinking about that mushroom soup. It was incredible.

Thanks for the information guys. I think we will make sure he has some nice khaki shorts and a nice collared shirt. He should be comfortable at both AP and then in MK later.

I think a colar shirt and shorts would be just fine for a man. A nice ladies shirt/polo and capri or long shorts would work.

I loved it! We didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Wear what is comfy to you and that you wouldn't feel out of place. I saw dressy and very casual when we went.

Loved the salamon, and the cheese sampler, also the blood orange desert was great!
