Looking to do one signature meal - two TS credits on the DD.

Narrowed to Artist Point or Narcoosee. . Likely choices are buffalo or surf and turf.

What would you suggest and why?

Thanks!

That's a tough one-Narcoossee edges out Artists Point for me-if you base it on food. If you base it on relaxing meal-I would pick Artists Point (simply based on personal experience). If you're going for the "wow" factor-Naracoossee.

Aren't you glad I "helped" you??:rotfl:

I've eaten at AP numerous times & never had a bad meal. I ate at Narcoossees twice - once was spectacular & the second time was not so hot. Based on that, I'd pick AP. Narcoossees is beautiful & it's a great view of Wishes from the deck, but it is a little noisy & in my experience, the food & service is unpredictable. It's an expensive flub when it's off, so we probably won't risk it again.

I really loved the buffalo at AP! It is a very unique dish. I don't eat lobster, so I did not try the surf and turf. But I have seen many comments here on the board that the lobster is not the best (some lower quality or so) in this dish. I am sure some people will be able to elaborate on that.

Both restaurants are beautiful and we had good service at both. So I guess whatever you pick, you have very good chances of a wonderful evening! :goodvibes

We prefer Artist Point to Narcoosees. Our last two visits to Narcoosees have been underwhelming.

I'd go with Artist Point (and we're going during our trip next week, in fact). The buffalo is supposed to be rather stupendous, while people don't seem to much care for the surf and turf. Apparently it's made with a frozen lobster tail which isn't very tasty, especially for the price they charge. Go get the buffalo, and save lobster for the next time you're in New England. ;)

We have not tried AP yet (though we'll be there in about 3 weeks!), but we have had dinner twice at Narcoossee's--August 2009 and December 2009. August was okay though not stellar. December was disappointing, so we are skipping it this time even though we're staying at the Grand Floridian.
