Hi,

The last time we ate at Artist Point, November 2010, we found that the air conditioning was on the cold side and my DW had to ask for a blanket.

Has anyone else found it so cold that they've asked to be moved to a warmer section or for a blanket?

But have to say the meal was excellent, I had the grilled Buffalo and it just melted in my mouth.

We ate there Dec 21 2010 and sat by the windows.
I was cold and put my fleece on. The restaurant is beautiful but we were disappointed overall.
Still willing to try one more time - just to see......

I ate there a few weeks ago when it was rainy and 55 outside but I was very comfortable while eating my meal. Unlike Citrico's the next night were it was so cold my meal got cold 1/2 through the meal!

3 of 4 of us froze. My DH is never cold! We were disappointed in the food. Went for buffalo steak and it was not on the menu. The buffalo dish was braised buffalo so we all got steaks or chicken.

Wow! That is cold! I can't imagine it being so cold that I would ask for a blanket. I've been chilly before in a restaurant, but never enough to ask for a blanket. We've eaten at AP a number of times and I don't remember being more cold then most places at WDW. The signature restaurants seem to be a bit cooler than most restaurants. So I try to remember a light sweater, just in case.

Not at Artist Point, but this did happen to me at Yachtsman Steakhouse. We were seated right under an AC vent and the waitress had to give me a tablecloth to drape over my shoulders. The other tables were all full.

as someone who has lived the majority of her life in florida but has also lived in 5 other states (nj, ar, ks, va, in, and ca) i think it could be they're playing to the masses thinking everyone is warm when they get to florida. basically most people in florida say they're cold whenever it's below 80 outside and anyone not from florida are wearing tank tops and shorts when we're still wearing our sweats and leather jackets. given that the majority of people coming to wdw at this time of year still have cold temps at home they may just be adjusting to them...OR they're to cheap to turn on the heat...just a thought or two.

I've never found any Disney restaurant too cold being one of the those Northerner's...and the pools are always too warm!
