My husband and I were going to try and get away with bringing only shorts and t-shirt attire to WDW. I just made a PS for Artist Point at WL, and they said the dress was 'smart casual.' What exactly does that mean, and does anyone ever just where clothes there that they normally wear to the parks? Would that be frowned upon?

Smart casual..no tank tops or swimming attire.

I usually wear capris with a nice top, hubby khakis & polo shirt.

We have went in park attire..but, that was before they started this smart casual thing everywhere.

You will not be turned away for wearing your park clothes to Artist Point. You will see anything from shorts and t-shirts to nice dressed and even a tie or two.

As far as smart casual, I think they mean polo type or button down shirts for men. I would just wear your nicest park clothes that day.

Enjoy your dinner!:D
