Last night was DH's turn to make dinner, and he made me Berry Cobbler from the Artist Point reciep. Our last visit I bought him the Disney Chefs cookbook. It was sooooooooooo good. Can't wait to have the rest.
On the first page of my food reviews - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1028850 are pictures from Artist Point featuring the soup, the buffalo, the porkchop and other yummy items with reviews.
This is a great place to dine! It is always our "First night" restaurant.
Interestingly, this is always our "Last Night" restaurant, as we wish to savor the food, the ambience, and the wine for one more night before leaving the next day. It serves as a reminder of how fortunate we are in our lives to be able to enjoy WDW, VWL, AP, and most of all, each other. Any time you get to go to AP it's a great night, though.
SkipperBubba and I (Penn Staters both, BTW -- roar, Lions roar...) also tend to make this our traditional "last night" meal. We both adore the place. Ambience, food, service...all excellent.
We both usually begin with the Prince Edward Island mussels, which are done in a white wine broth with fennel and come with a lovely grilled sourdough slice. For entrees, you can't go wrong with the cedar plank salmon or the buffalo. For dessert, DH usually goes with the berry cobbler. I wander the menu, and have yet to have a poor result.
Bon appetit,
