The TSA at it's finest. They claim they can't AFFORD the best equipment yet they are letting someone else get the profits from thier "confiscated" stuff...... SHESH!

So you would rather all the discarded items would just go into landfills :confused3

BTW, with the latest round of lotions/liquids being confiscated/discarded, they are not reselling those items through this program.
 
No, I think the TSA should have been selling these items and putting the profits into making us more secure or at least getting a cut! Every little bit would have helped.

(They are already saying the TSA will need MORE money which WE are going to have to pay)
 

Federal law gives the states the rights to the property - not the federal government.
 
OK then I was wrong. Sorry (However, I still think it's a good idea. Sounds like there is a decent chunk of money involved and the TSA is whining that they don't have enough money for the best stuff!)
