ART shuttle Question

I have been wondering whether to get tickets for ART for our family. We will be staying at Hojos. I assume you dont need a carseat for this, are the shuttles usually full. How do they handle high usage times like closing time. Will I need to wait 3-4 bus loads until we get to finally get in at night. Do they tend to be so crowded I wont be able to fit a stroller.

I figured we would need a ride back from Budget Rental car drop-off, but I dont know if I might as well get a 5-day pass from the beginning, or just wait to see if the walk is faster.

You might be interested in walking in the morning, and in the evening taking ART back, or OCTA or a cab. In my opinion, especially if you have young children, which it sounds like your family has, I would just take ART in the morning and back again to the hotel, whenever you might be interested in heading back. I took the ART for several days not far from where you will be staying, and it was always on time, the drivers were most friendly and informative, and the ride was very fast. I would not worry about overcrowding, for I have not seen it bad at all, of the many times I have been in the waiting area for the shuttles, et al. Strollers should not be a problem either.
I recommend the multi-day pass, it is easy, fast, convenient and economical as well.

Walking will be faster. I believe HOJOs is the last stop on that route and the walk is only about 8 minutes. Balancing small children, strollers and getting on and off ART can be tricky and usually not worth the effort for such a short walk. Another PLUS of walking is that if the little one is asleep in the stroller, you don't have to wake them to get on and off the shuttle.
