Hello Everyone . . .

We'll be heading to Disney World in July and would like to stay at the new Art of Animation resort. I've spoken with 2 different cast members about it (on DisneyWorld.com) and have gotten conflicting information. One said that the resort will have its own buses dedicated to that resort only, but another one said during construction they'll share a bus with Pop Century. Has anyone heard anything one way or another? Thanks!

My understanding from everything that I read is that that AOA will have its own bus system but I could see Disney have the two resorts share for a bit while AOA is only partly open. I would think that during the busier times early morrnings when parks are closing each resort would have its own bus.

We don't even know WHEN or even IF they're opening the bridge between Pop & AoA. :confused3

No one really has info on buses yet. We'll know in June when AoA guests start filling up the resort and going to the parks. If Pop guests are able to walk over the bridge to use the food court and pools, then I would say there's a good chance that the 2 resorts will share buses. If they are kept absolutely separate, then we can safely assume that they won't share. :goodvibes

My personal opinion is that POP and AoA will end up sharing buses, but ONLY sporadically during the non-peak late AM/early PM hours similar to the system at the All-Star Resort(the All-Star Resort actually is larger than POP/AoA).:)

For example,if it is 1:30 PM at the Magic Kingdom bus depot and there are 5 Guests waiting for a POP bus and 7 Guests waiting for an AoA bus,I just don't see Disney running TWO buses-one with 5 Guests and one with 7 Guests- instead of ONE bus with 12 Guests when the 2 Resorts are adjacent to each other.:)

IMHO,Pop Century and Art of Animation will be full Sister Resorts as was the intention for Pop Century-Classic Years and Pop Century-Legendary Years.I think the only question is at what point in the construction of AoA will Generation Gap Bridge(AKA The Bridge to Nowhere;):)) be opened.:)
