Has anyone else heard about the renovations? Staying there in August but just got an email about renovations planned. Concerned because I have my 13 month old in addition to my other children (will he be able to nap with renovations?).

The only renovations we know of is the installation of the Gondola station in the middle of Generation Gap bridge. I think the only location that MIGHT hear any noise would be a small number of Finding Nemo Suites that are closer to the bridge.

Some noise is possible-the Gondola will "come through" part of the 1950s/Little Mermaid parking lot before entering Hourglass Lake.

They have already closed part of the lot.

I have heard on facebook that they have started renovations on the little mermaid rooms. If anyone happens to get a renovated room on a future stay, could you please post a picture or two. Heard they are also adding coffee makers.
