Hey there! We have been to Disney many times. Stayed in the cabins at Fort Wilderness, POFQ, and several stays at POP. We love POP! But this time my mother in law is coming with and everyone agreed that maybe we should try something new. We are going early November 2017. We priced resorts at all levels. Since there's 6 of us we are limited on where we can stay in one suite but we priced 2 rooms at many places too. My 12 & 9 year old got super excited about Art of Animation though. So that's what we are booking! We chose the Finding Nemo suites to be close to the main pool and main building. So please.....tell me all about this resort! Are the suites good sized for 6 people? Favorite pool? How is the food court? Any tips, likes, dislikes.....

So excited we are going home!!!! Thank you.

We stayed in a Nemo Suite back in April, but it was DH and I and the 3 kids. (ages 11, 9 and 15 months at the time) We took the master bedroom and had the baby in there with us (in a pack n play) and the girls took the pull down bed in the living area.

Is your MIL going to be ok sleeping on a pull out couch or are you giving her the master bedroom?

It was a great amount of space for my family, but again, our party of 5 only consisted of 2 adults.

We did a split stay last February between the GF and AOA -- it was 50+ year old me, plus a 25 and 24 y/o, and a 17 and 16 y/o. Note - I stayed 3 nights GF before the other 4 arrived -- the last 2 of which came in at 11pm, so it wasn't too crowded as they were only there 8 hours, lol. Anyhow, the 25 y/os had the master bedroom, the teenagers had the sleep sofa and I had the murphy bed. I'm a big guy and it was plenty comfortable for me. Being close to the hallway (i.e. 2 feet from it), I didn't notice any excessive noise until maybe 8am each morning with little ones off to the parks -- but I was up at 6 so it was no big deal. The food court had lots of good choices - and 3 of us have major food allergies. The buses were very good -- we never waited more than 10 minutes. We only went to the Big Blue Pool -- and basically had it to ourselves. We were in a Cars family suite -- we wanted Nemo but it was sold out -- you are in a great location.

Enjoy -- we did!

We stayed in a Cars suite last November and we really enjoyed it. We have young kids and they loved walking through the resort and seeing all the characters. The Big Blue pool is fantastic, and the Cars pool is a nice alternative too. It's smaller, but I believe it's deeper (not 100% sure) and has no zero entry. There are a lot of food choices available and there is plenty of seating. It's a very kid-friendly resort and although it can be loud, it wasn't overwhelming to us. The suites have two bathrooms, which would be a major bonus with six people. If you want to have extra space (and a place to sit other than a bed) during the day, you might want to convert the pull out back to a couch. Same goes for the murphy bed, as it doubles as the dining table. Also, I agree with PP on hallway noise and buses. Noise in the hallways was limited to the mornings and the buses were not an issue during our trip. It's the only resort we have stayed at, so I don't have much to compare it to, but we personally think it's a really fun resort and I'm sure your family will have a wonderful time.

We had 3 adults, My brother and sister in law, me the Disney Fanatic and all around tour guide and my nieces, then aged 5 and 7 (turning 7 on the trip)! We stayed in Lion King Suites, which were a great location. Next best to Nemo suites. I slept on the pull down bed at the dining room table area and it was really comfortable. The kiddos slept in the fold out sofa, which was really comfortable for a pull out. There was enough room for all of us to get ready in the morning without having to wake up early and take a number to get in line for the bathroom, loved that there are two. My brother and his wife were VERY happy to take the bedroom which had a door. The only space issue was closet and drawer space. I had to live out of my suitcase because there just wasn't room for all of us to put our clothes in the drawers. We stayed for 5 nights.

The food court was really good, as far a food court goes. The girls loved the create your own pasta station! We ate sushi at the pool bar one evening while doing laundry and it was pretty good, but the cocktails were better.

The main pool always was busy and really noisy, we went to the Little Mermaid pool for some quiet swim time.

Make sure you go around the whole resort there are so many wonderful picture spots. Each area is themed so well.

One night we even walked across the lake to Pop! to get some of that wonderful tie dye cheesecake and Elvis cupcakes.

We stayed in the cars suite with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Our moms were with us one slept on the pull out sofa and the other slept on the murphy bed. My mom said the murphy bed was comfortable, my MIL was ok on the pull out sofa but next year we booked 2 rooms because she wants a real bed. We loved the resort, we used both the big blue pool and the cars pool which was less crowded. Every night we walked around the lake and from the bridge you can get a glimpse of one of the fireworks at night. We had a dinner/lunch at the food court a couple times, it had a lot of options. Because we had a microwave and fridge and sink in the suite we brought a small carry on suit case with breakfast foods like cereal and bagels so we didn't have to go to the food court in the morning except to fill our mugs (sent husband to do that). This made our mornings easier to get ready so we could hit the parks and a lot more affordable.
