Art of Animation check in question

Ok, I have been looking and searching on the forum for a little while now and I cannot find what I’m looking for. I apologize if this has been brought up somewhere before.

We will be going to Disney World in September and this is the first trip for our family(i came when I was 5 in 88 and for a grad night in 02, so those don’t really count lol). We are staying at the Art of Animation Resort and are driving down from Alabama. We will be driving down either part of the way or all the way the night before our stay and staying in an offsite hotel.

I know that check in is not until 3PM, however we are planning on having a park day the first day of our stay. Would we be able to park at AofA at around 8AM and then take the bus to the parks, or would it be recommend that we park at the park we are going to and drive back to the resort that evening? We will be doing online check in the day before we arrive and don’t expect to use EMH on the first day of the trip since we did not stay on property the night before.

You can check in as early as 6:30AM. Your room most likely won't be ready, but it might. Even if it's not you can park at AoA, give your luggage to Bell Services and take a bus to the parks.
