Finally booked our resort for our 2016 trip! Pretty psyched.

Anyone have any suggestions for requests to add to our AoA Cars Suite reservation? e.g. A room location? Close to this or that? We are not familiar with the resort. Any advice to enhance our experience is greatly appreciated.

We are not particular and don't really need to add any requests (besides a Pack 'n Play), but thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Hi there. We stayed in the Cars Suites last year and loved it! We were in Building 1 Room 1801. It was a top floor room which was not a problem because there is an elevator. We also had a view overlooking the area between the buildings (I'm not sure what this would be called, maybe landscape view or courtyard view?). In other words, we could see the Cozy Cone motel and Luigi's tires from our window. It was a fantastic view! I liked the top floor because no one was above us. It is a bit of a walk to the lobby building, but my kids loved feeling like they were in Radiator Springs. I hope your family enjoys it as much as we did.

Maybe request a room on the end ? We stay their with 4 adults for my Birthday 2 years ago and it was very cozy lol. But the suites are right by the main building and the floors were pretty quiet. Otherwise if you hit a walmart or somewhere before you get their , a gallon of milk will fit in the fridge of the suite just fine as we all share a gallon the few nights

We will be at Art of A Cars is about 6 weeks. 2 years ago had Nemo, 1 year ago had Lion King. For those, I was not able to reserve a choice (booked late, got the "Family Suite option, meaning, whatever they have left). I wanted to try all 3, so this time I booked earlier. I love the Cars Section, especially after dark. I am hoping that because it has it's own pool, that the laundry room will be less packed than Nemo (also used by LK section).

I think I asked for landscape view and top floor. I drive to most parks, so I was less concerned about the distance to the bus from CARS.

I'm sorry I don't know the building numbers - but there are a few slight differences among locations at Cars. The building we were in - while we had the gorgeous lake view we requested - I hadn't realized how far a walk that would be to the parking lot. (and we typically drive everywhere) So - if you have a car - two of the buildings aren't that far from parking - but the other one is definitely a farther walk. Despite the walk, I'd probably request lake view at Cars again because it was nice to have a view that was so "empty" of people and pretty. Felt calming.

I think the main difference for Cars though is if you are facing the pool/Courtyard vs. facing parking lot or lake.

And realize that the elevators in ALL of the AoA suite buildings are in the middle of the building. If you are at the end of the hall on the top floor - either be prepared to walk to the middle of the building or climb four flights of stairs.

If you look at the map online - you can see what I'm talking about - but I don't know the numbers of each building.

When we went and stayed at the Cars area we asked for lake view. We were in the building with Luigi's tires. We loved the lake view. We could also see POP across the lake. It was very quiet too aside from the occasional kids running down the hallways.

Try to be away from the elevators if you can. We ended up right next to them on the first floor and it was loud.

I'm trying to decide which room request would give me a quieter room. I am a very light sleeper. Would top floor or away from elevators be better. Any thoughts?

Well, both. Top floor would have nobody over you, away from elevator would avoid conversations while guests wait.

My first request is going to be "close to transportation", so I can only choose one from the two options. If I understand correctly, when you do online check-in you can only make two requests, so I was trying to decide which one to put as my second request.
