What do you do?

We're looking at a very last-minute trip staying the SL for 3 nights.

Thing is to get the good Eurostar deal we won't arrive at DLRP until gone 5pm.

Would you....

A - Bust it to one of the parks for the last half an hour (does DLRP have the same rule as WDW where you can get into the queue up until closing time?)

or

B - Just chill out and wait for the next morning?

If I were you I wold plan to take it easy may be spend the evening in the Village have a meal in one of the hotels and rest for your full day the next day!

In September we arrived about 4 and went in the park I really wish we hadn't! I wish we went in the village and then back to Davy Crockett and unpack and rest. But the Disney excitement just gets a hold of you! x

I think I would end up in the park! Even if it was just to have a walk down mainstreet and see the castle. I don't think I could wait till morning. :)

we did same thing last year. We were around 16 at parks, so just grabbed tickets and went for it. Walked around, did some rides and enjoyed our first stay. Would do the same again.

Yes you can get in the ride queues until closing time. I think we would probably just have a meal and unpack etc, but we have three small children in tow so going anywhere quickly doesn't really happen:goodvibes

Hi Torsie

Ha - a last minute trip :thumbsup2

As I'm presuming it will be you and Mr Torsie only, then if that were me I would hot foot it to the Park. Like others say, just drink in the atmosphere if nothing else - have a little browse in the shops, get a hot chocolate or something :goodvibes

It's so different when you have a few young children in tow, so make the most of it :thumbsup2:cool1:

with no small children, I'd definitely go to the park :goodvibes.

Thanks everyone. :)

If you've seen my other thread we may well pay a bit extra and wait a couple fo months to go and see Dreams instead.....

It's a tough decision!
