arrrrrgh!

The longest paper I will have to write is a 10 page report on narcissism due at the end of April for AP psych. I haven't started :B

What I'm dreading is the 15 page paper I have to write next quarter for AP Lit. I'm so happy that I'm one of my teacher's favourites.
OH GOD! that sounds horrendous! you have my sympathies girl!

yucky. 10 page papers = major thumbs down. at least that sounds like an interesting topic though!

the rest of my essays should be a cakewalk compared to this, 1500 words on shakespeare (i'm doing masculine values in macbeth & antony & cleo), 1200 words on cinema (i'm doing moulin rouge & across the universe & their aesthetics--i'm actually really excited to write it!) and 1200 words on poetry (havent even STARTED to think about that one yet! hahaha)

good luck to all of you with your crazy AP essays! haha.
to think, i'm in uni and your guys' papers sound harder than mine :P

I had to write a 8-10 page paper. Not sure how many words that exactly is. Still was a pain in the bum.

i'm suppose to writing a 1200 word paper on gun control or something along those lines. its not due until thursday so i'll probably start it wednesday night. xD

16 page paper

but they gave me one month to do it!

Oh, Joy of Joys!

I just got assigned a paper for Biology that must be at least 1,000 words long. Which, honestly, isn't all that bad, but! It's over 'The sea lamprey in the Great Lakes'.

Those are GROSS! They're like GIANT LEECHES! ;>__<

Ick.

I think the longest paper I've written was 5-6 pages (double spaced). I'm still a freshman, and I've heard that psychology majors have lots of research type papers.

i'm working on a paper on an upper cumberland folklore ghost story. it has to be 11 pages minimum. i've got about three paragraphs lol.

oh, definitely.
in my ap psych (subs in for psych 1430) i would have to HAND WRITE papers in class that would end up being three or four pages long. thats freshman intro psych. :confused3

The longest paper I wrote was for senior project, it had to be 5-8 pages and it was a topic you could pick... so of course I wrote the History of the walt disney company. and the paper itself is only 943 words.... i thought it was a lot more.

I'm a huge procrastinator. I end up doing all my homework within the hour before I go to bed. Sometimes, i'll do it at lunch instead, which ends up being around 30 minutes after eating.

I've barely written anything in Psychology. We just gets tons of sheets about the studies we do. But then, i'm not sure how different the Psychology courses are in the USA and the UK.

I hate hand writing papers, I can't focus like that. That's why I'm really dreading my english final, and I hope she lets us go to the computer lab for it.

I have a paper due in my intro to sociology class that's supposed to be 700-1000 words. It's a personal paper though, which I find are actually harder to right about than research papers.

i love love love love love me some research paper. you don't really have to..create anything. you just collect information and put it all together.

My longest paper was 8 pages. I didnt really procrastinate on it though. The longest one I ever procrastinated on was about 2 pages so it wasnt that bad.

Although I do have two 2-3 pages essays due tomorrow and I have to read "heart of darkness" by tomorrow also. I havent started any of it.

I have a 3-4 page paper on Identity Theft due soon for personal finance. PF is an elective.

I am horrible at writing essays. Finding info? Great. Forming individual sentences? Awesome.
Putting everything together and forming a closing and topic sentece? FAIL.

Exactly. It's straight-forward stuff.
Yep!

But when it comes to writing, I usually write the body first, and then in the end right the introductory paragraph and conclusion. It just comes that way for me.

Oh my gosh. I hate those. And closing paragraphs are worse. Opening sentences/paragraphs are easy for me though.

uuuugh. again how stupid am i!! 2000 word essay due thursday on a shakespeare topic--have yet to start, spent the day today watching weeds! i am ridiculous.

the amount of words isn't even what really gets you, it's the number of sources you need and all that
