First, I'm sorry about the ban.

Sometimes it seems as though they have a computer "reviewing" conversations & it just flags certain words or phrases. Other times I've had people pesting me with questions & statements that I know aren't allowed and nother happens to them - other than me putting them on "Ignore". LOL
When you get those "we feel we've resolved" responses, they're hoping you'll give up & go away. (I know - cynical!) Sometimes I do just give up & "let them win" - I know I shouldn't. I gave up after 3 attempts to get them to give back either my HKDL pins or my 2000 credits used to buy them. (That was when they were out for an hour "by mistake".) Other times I will persist &
occasionally I've gotten what was lost.
What I don't get, though, is the inequality of the banning process. Last week I was visiting the Virtual Pirates of the VMK ride (awesome BTW!) and chatting with the owner. He had at least 3 sets of pirate quest stuff & I asked him if he lived close enough to do it often. I thought afterwards that I probably shouldn't have asked that. He made a comment about using the winnings of everyone in the family to fill the rooms (never answered the question about being close) and followed up with "Where are you located?" In the time it took me to type out "We probably shouldn't be talking about this" he'd already received a
warning for asking for personal info.
Here's the inequality: I initiated the exchange & asked basically the same question, but was not warned. He got a warning for asking where I was & you got a 2 hour ban for asking a question that the thought
may have given the ability to
begin finding a location! And they wonder why we get irritated with the way it's handled?
