Arriving September 20th- Help

I am arriving on September 20th and staying through the 25th. It is just me and my son, who will be 5. I booked Chef Mickey's and the Tusker House. I hadn't thought much about the free dining promotion until today.

Do you think we will be able to book free dining with our arrival date?

Will there be any table service meals left for us to reserve?

I'm trying to decide if I should even bother booking through WDW or just use American Express points and forget about the free dining.

I also booked for Sept 20, but we are staying till the 27th. I was able to get Free Dining for ALL my dates because we arrive on the last day of the program. I was also able to get ALL my ADR's that I wanted with no problem. I booked CRT at lunch, Hoop Dee Doo Review, Spirit of Aloha Luau, and Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

We are checking in 9/19 and were able to get free dining for the length of our stay through 9/26. I'd definitely go for free dining -- you and your son could have a blast! Are you doing the character breakfast at Tusker House, or the buffet for lunch or dinner? Garden Grill in Epcot does a character meal, and Crystal Palace in MK... I've heard the Whispering Canyon is great fun for kids, and 'Ohana (DH and I had breakfast with Stitch, it was awesome!)

I guess I'll be on the phone bright and early tomorrow. I am flexible with the hotel, so I am sure we'll get in!
