Arriving at 12:00 the same day as cruise (I know we are taking our chances), would you recommend taking the disney transportation or renting a town car for the round trip??
5 passengers: Myself, an aunt, DW, DS 4, DD 1.5
Thank you

On a separate note, how do you add a countdown to your post...We are leaving on October 16th Magic!!!! Can't wait

P.S. Thank ya'll for all the great info you provide in these pages

I am lazy, so I prefer to use Happy Limo rather than deal with the buses. The DCL buses are a relatively smooth experience, but I don't like the "cattle call" and the possibility of having to wait if there are a lot of people in front of me (we've had to wait a bus or two at busy times) or to wait for a bus to fill. With a towncar, it's your own private vehicle, and you go immediately. You have to take your luggage with you, but the porters take it from you as soon as you pull up so it's not a big hassle. Coming in the day of the cruise may feel rushed anyway, so I would recommend arranging private transportation.

On our first cruise, we flew in on the same day and had a limo (not sure what company, as our friends arranged that bit) pick us up. It was nice, as we could go without a lot of other people or waiting in line or for anyone else, and there was someone waiting there for us and we didn't have to think.
We are planning on doing the same this year. With a slighty larger group, it will even come out cheaper than the DCL transfers.

Dan, I don't think your party of 5 would fit comfortably in a towncar, not to mention all of your luggage. You'd be fine in a limo or in one of the larger passenger vans which most of the limo companys have. We've used Tiffany Towncar several times, including just a couple of weeks ago, and their stretch limos have always been wonderful. Lots of room, and they have spring water and soda chilling in the coolers for your. They also have a brand new stretch limo with 2 tv screens, and a DVD player, with a couple of Disney DVDs to choose from. I have some pictures on my web site, the link is below in my signature. If the limo is a bit too expensive, they have the large passenger vans which are only a bit more money than the town cars. Hope this helps :)
