Arriving on Jan 2 - When will tickets be available?

Has anyone heard when the new MYW tickets will go on sale? I mean, if we are arriving on January 2nd it will be difficult to get the advance purchase prices if they tickets don't go on sale soon.

I've talked with CM about this because we are arriving 1/1. They say that MYW tickets won't be available until 1/2. You can however buy PH passes and upgrade on the 2nd.
