Arriving on a Friday evening...National opinions?

Hi all---

This next trip we are arriving Friday evening around 7:30pm. I always rent National Emerald Club. We will be getting a minivan via Emerald Reserve.

Any comments on number of cars usually available on a Friday night? Also, is this a busy time, lots of people arriving and getting cars? Any issues getting out of the airport.

We usually arrive on the first flight on a Saturday morning so this is a totally new deal for us.

I know you asked about a Friday night but we arrived last Thursday night (Jan 29th) about 7 pm. In Emerald Aisle, there were two full rows of minivans and two SUVs. We wanted a car, the manager allowed us to walk over to the fullsize aisle and take a car from there. Hope this helps.

We arrived Friday 1/23/04, 6:30 PM and there were a lot of cars on all the aisles. We used EA and even the EA aisle was almost completely full, good selections too.
Getting out of the airport was a breeze, we came in on terminal B and left via the South Exit, not much traffic at all.

I was there 1/23 - 1/26.......arrived at 8:30 PM. Only 1 other party in front of me (at least a dozen in line at Alamo) and had my paperwork in hand in less than 10 minutes. Plenty of cars to choose from and I pulled into Pop Century by 9:30. It was no problem!
