Hi, my family will be arriving at the HRH a week from today:woohoo: Needless to say I am SO excited since the last time I was at Universal the Hard Rock was still being built. I have a list of question I hope you can help with.

1. We will be arriving around noon. Do they have a system like Disney where you can check in and they call/text you with your room # when it's ready or do I have to wait till 4:00 to checkin?

2. Is there somewhere they check your bags in before your room is ready so we can head to the parks before we get our room?

3. Do we have access to the CL lounge before our room is ready or do we have to wait?

4. Do we have access to the pool before our room is ready or do we have to wait?

5. Does everyone in our party get a room key or just the 2 adults?

6. Will the hotel print our air-line boarding passes for the trip home?

I know it's a lot of question, but I'm so use to the "Disney way" that I am clueless to anything else. I don't even know where baggage claim or check in is at MCO :rotfl: pretty sad I know.

Thanks in advance for all the help:goodvibes

Yes, they will call you.

2. Is there somewhere they check your bags in before your room is ready so we can head to the parks before we get our room?

Yes, you leave them with luggage service.

3. Do we have access to the CL lounge before our room is ready or do we have to wait?

This I do not know, never stay club.

4. Do we have access to the pool before our room is ready or do we have to wait?

Sure you can!

5. Does everyone in our party get a room key or just the 2 adults?

Everyone in your room will have a key, it has you names and ages on them, also its your express pass too.

6. Will the hotel print our air-line boarding passes for the trip home?

I believe they do.

oh, nevermind.........

If you paid for club that day your room key has a special notation that the people in club can check and it will open the club door. I also remove the charging option on my kids cards when checking in just in case they loose them. I also refuse the min bar key so there is never a question that I used something

good point.
i totally agree and have done the same thing.

i only have charging rights on my card.
i have the hotel lobby number programmed in my cell in case i lose my card..

i don't have to worry about trying to think of the # when i need help at a time like that of losing something of value.

my boys, all 4 of them, were never allowed to have charging privledges on their cards.

since they would lose their shoes over night in the hotel room, i could not trust them with not losing their hotel key cards.

i have always refused the key to the mini bar.
better to be safe than sorry.

i read one post where a lady was charged for items missing from the minibar.
she only moved some items around to make room for something of hers in it.
when the employee did the daily check in the mini bar, something was out of line and a charge went on the guest's bill.

:lmao::rotfl:

We always refuse the mini bar key and we never use the room charge either, my best friend cash handles that.;)

Thanks for the tip on the mini bar key, never even gave that a thought! As far as their room keys go, they are so young I will be holding them but I will make sure to not allow room charging on their cards!!
You've been very helpful, I can not thank you enough:worship: As I mentioned in my original post I am so excited about this trip since it is a surprise for my boys (plus the fact that I can't wait to get away from the snow here in NJ).
Thank you a million times over:thumbsup2
