Arriving early with groceries

We will be using a limo service with a free grocery stop for our arrival at BWV in May. Since we will be arriving in the morning and our room will not be ready until 4-5 pm, I’m assuming it won’t be a problem for Bell Services to hold our groceries and luggage and then deliver everything to the room after we get access to our room.

Has anyone done this? We usually take a later flight and arrive early evening so we’ve always been able to check into our room right away. And the times we’ve used a delivery service I’ve always scheduled a delivery time for after 5 pm when I know we would have access to our room.

I’m not concerned about a delivery fee and I believe we were charged that fee last November when we did an Instacart delivery but we have never just shown up with bags of groceries early in the day. I guess I should bag everything accordingly (refrigerated vs. pantry) and write our name with marker on each bag.

Does anyone have any tips?

BWV Bell Services will hold your groceries. They have refrigerated storage. Just mark the bags you need kept cold or frozen. Call when you get into your room and they will bring everything up. Tip accordingly.

Yes, that will be most helpful when you arrive. Bell Services will take your groceries along with your luggage and hold them at proper temperatures until you either stop by and pick them up or call from your room and ask them to bring them. I believe that if they bring your groceries at the same time they bring your luggage, there's no additional charge (just the routine tip, of course).

They will do it and I started bringing a few reusable bags to hold things so it was easier than the plastic ones that they used at the store!

Thank you for your replies. I figured they would hold them, I just wanted to be sure. Great idea to bring along some reusable grocery bags also.

This is great news. We're also using a limo and doing a quick grocery stop. I was wondering what we'd do with all that stuff!
