Arriving Dec 30!

Ok so out flight if not delayed is in MCO at 1030 am. Staying at POFQ
We want to go to Epcot that day. But we do want to go to hotel drop off carry on bags, make sure all is good before going to Epcot.

Would it be much faster/better to hire a car to pick up at airport instead of doing MDE? Would it be worth the $?

Right now I am hoping to boom 1st FP from 1-2pm. Hoping that is also realistic.

We have only used their transportation when we go, and I don't schedule the first FP or ADR until approx 3 hrs after the scheduled arrival time for our flight. I would assume a car is faster; however, it is not worth the expense for us.

We always book a private car because I like to get to the resort ASAP. We also only pack carry-ons so we can get off the plane, meet our driver in baggage claim and get out of MCO. From landing until arriving at our resort, it typically takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours max.
