Arriving Before Your PAT?

Has anyone ever been allowed to arrive BEFORE their PAT? I'm leaving from San Juan and my PAT is between 1:00-1:30, but my flight is scheduled to touch down at 10:50 am. I wouldn't really mind waiting if that were the case, just wondering if anyone's done it before and been allowed in the terminal or even on the ship.

I have arrived before my PAT but my boarding group # was the same as everyone who had the same pre selected PAT as I did (therefore I was not allowed on earlier than nor with those who had picked an earlier time).

By the time you touch down, get your luggage and get to the port, they should be close to open boarding so you should be fine.
