Due to our pre cruise vacation, we will be gone before the cruise documents arrive. Has this ever happened to anyone. DCL said they would be waiting at the counter for me and my name would be on the manifest so as long as I had and picture id I can pick them up there. Anyone experience this? Thanks

Yes, we traveled last year with friends who booked 5 days before the cruise. The documents were waiting at the counter and they just had to state their names to pick them up....no problem at all. The only problem is that you then have to fill out all those documents on the spot. In their case, 4 sets, it was a pain at the time but obviously it only took 10 minutes and it was over and fun was had by all. Don't worry about picking them up at the terminal at all

Thank you for reassuring me. I know that they take forever to fill out or at least it would seem that way when you are excited and can't wait to get in line to board. :)

Well, I grabbed one set, my friend grabbed one set, her DH grabbed one set and whichever one of us finished first did the last set. We flew through them rather quickly!
