Hey Everyone!! :wave2: I was wondering how early you all arrived before your weddings? We are planning on arriving the afternoon before. Will this give us enough time? :confused3 Thanks!! princess:

TinkBride- We are getting married in the same week! I am getting married on March 6th. We are arriving on March 2nd, Mainly because we want a full week in the World! ( we can't stay later because we are on my spring break restrictions :confused3 )

Too Neat!! :cool1: We have the same problem only reverse. We can't arrive earlier because of spring break restrictions! I am just worrying that we won't be there early enough. We are staying for 9 days after the wedding, but we wanted to get married ASAP, so we could start the Disneymoon!! :wizard:

Are you having an intimate or custom wedding?

We had an intimate and arrived the day before, and it was just fine.

I think if you are having a custom, with the rehearsal and all that, the day before might not be enough time...but talk it over with your EM, they'll ease your mind!

I arrived the Thursday evening before my Saturday wedding. Since we drove down, we couldn't have arrived on Friday without having to rush to the rehearsal. It was perfect for us--not so early that it felt like the big day would never arrive, but not so late that we felt rushed.

We are having an intimate, at 2:30 on Friday and we will be arriving at about 3:30 on Thursday. I guess I just haven't gotten so far into details with my EM to know the timelines of the wedding. We are still in the "playing with the wishbook" stages. :woohoo: So, hopefully everything goes smoothly......why can't it be March yet? :bride: :wizard:

we arrived march 15th & our custom wedding was march 21st. it gave us plenty of time to relax, have fun at disney & do all our prewedding activities (rehearsal, rd, guys & gals events, etc)

I think you'll have plenty of time...it's totally up to you. I got there on a Monday for my Thursday wedding...My dh arrived very late Tuesday night. A lot of guests came the day of or the day before...

We are getting married on March 18th, Sunday , so we are arriving the Wednesday before. I wanted to have enough time to get things done so we are not running around the day before doing lots of wedding stuff. Hopefully it will work out.

Travelling from the UK, we arrived a week in advance. This gave us plenty of time to get our Marriage License and also go to a few of the parks.
We stayed on I-Drive with our small number of guests for the first 6 days, then transferred to the AKL the day before the wedding. We then had 8 days at the AKL in a "Honeymoon" capacity, away from the family etc.
