we live in upstate ny and our dd is scheduled to arrive on jan 31 most of the airlines can't get her to florida before 1130 am. i know she is suppose to be there by 12. if she arrives at 1130 she may be cutting it very close. do you suggest we send her the night before and if so where do you recommend we have her stay? should we book room near airport than have mears transportation pick her up or do we have her stay closer to disney? if she stays closer can anyone recommend a place. thanks

Yes send her a night early and let her stay at the Holiday Sunspree it's right across the street from Vista.

Yes she'll do all of her check in stuff at Vista and if she lives in another complex they will provide her with a shuttle to the complex. Then she will have to get on the bus back to Vista for Casting/Housing Meeting. (I think...they may have one at the other complexs not sure she can ask about that when she gets there) But then she can ride the bus system back to her home apartment. Pretty much all transportation would be provided except for getting from Sunspree to Vista. You could either A) Have her call a cab. B) She could walk. or C) She could try to get a ride with a friend.

totally agree, send her the night before. My daughters roommate was delayed and arrived 20 minutes late for her check in time, and her room was given away. She waited for hours and was re-paired with new roommates she had not communicated with before, so had left things at home her original roomates were to bring, and lost the whole day to the situation. Early is good.
