Arrived home very very late Friday but...

sadly ds (5) and myself have been in bed since as we have come down with the most awful flu and tummy bug

Sadly ds was pretty poorly all week but did perk up now and again and then due to very little sleep,long days and no veg to be found really I came down with it on Thursday night. Our last day was pretty low key with ds kipping on the SL lounge chairs for 3 hours in the afternoon !

Just wanted to log on and say a big thank you for all your help and advice over the last few months it made a big difference to have your wisdom in hand especially as the trip was not as magical as I had hoped.

Promise I will post a trippie as soon as I feel a bit better but :

Highs: Meeting characters esp Winnie, Dumbo,Buzz,Casey Jnr,Parade and character train,parking on floor 5 at Ashford terminal car parkand walking past everyone waiting for the lift on the return

Lows: Eurostar being delayed for 3 hours on the way out, Tuesday & Wednesday were freezing, food was pretty awful (maybe just unlucky), BTM -it made ds cry ! ILLNESS SPOILING OUR HUGELY PLANNED TRIP .................

Hope the rest of you there at the same time had fun.

Sorry you were ill ... I also had an awful cold ... sore throat, and almost lost my voice on Thursday (however, this did cheer my DH up smewhat !).

I wasn't ill enough not to enjoy the trip thou - but now I am home I feel really ill (almost as if my body wouldn't let me be properly ill while at Disney) !

Sorry that illness took the shine off your trip. I wonder if it lowered you body temp - I thought it was quite warm last week there. (That may be my layers of blubber keeping me warm though )

Awww! I'm sorry for you, and hope you still had a few magical moments. My worst fear is that one of us will get sick. I spent 3 out of 4 days of our only trip to Italy in the hotel room with the flu/fever! But it did make it memorable...just the wrong kind of memory! So sorry...
