Arrived at dlp today

After all your hints and tips we are finally here!! Arrived 3pm today. Staying at the Cheyenne which is much better than I expected and the kids love it! Both girls (4&6) now asleep as up since 3.30am and shattered! Watched dreams which as everyone says is amazing! Also me and 6 yr old went on big thunder mountain which she loved (first fast ride!) oh and we also watched the parade (magical)! We were planning to eat at Cheyenne but it didn't open til 6 and we knew kids wouldn't last until after parade so had a quick cheap bite to eat at hakuna cafe and it was suprisingly yummy! Only downside so far is that it's absolutely FREEZING! We came prepared with thermals, layers, flask hot choc and hand warmers and although we were only outside 4-7.30 (including 30mins in cafe) I was so cold I hurt and my youngest was sobbing because her toes were hurting so much! So far Disney hasn't dissapointed at all (and I had high expectations lol).

We'll be staying in Cheyenne first night too. I bet my boys will be excited too.

I'm so glad you are all enjoying yourselves, despite the freezing weather. Its looking like another cold day tomorrow, so wrap up warm and maybe try to do as much indoors as you can, as from Sunday its supposed to get a bit milder and more bearable outside .

Day 2 - tired! Great day though! Today we started with plans to go magic hrs but by the time we actually managed to get there it was 9.50! Breakfast at 7.35 was chaos - I hate to imagine it during peak times! Mickey and donald did meet n greet at the hotel though - fantastic! When we got to the park we went straight to its a small world - after waiting 5 mins we walked straight on (girls loved this) then oct to princess pavilion - lovely and warm! 15 mins wait to see aurora and ariel = very happy children! Next we waited 10 minutes for dumbo picking up pp fast pass and captain hooks autograph on the way! Dumbo was lovely - 4 yr old petrified by pp ride! I didn't much enjoy it either (probably as she was sobbing throughout). After this we took a walk round sleeping beauties castle - wasn't very impressed tbh they could have made it much more magical - really lovely windows and view though. Lunch was excellent at cafe mickey! 55 euros for 2 large pizza 3 fries and a large latte. Characters were mickey goofy Pluto chip dale eeyore and geppetto - the girls loved it and all the characters were so fab!! We also got the birthday cake which my eldest was sooo pleased with goofy was dancing and singing and pretended to push her face in the cake! After lunch we went to studios as too tired to walk around anymore! We hired a buggy (12 euro) for our 4.5 yr old (I wish I had listened and bought one with us as it really is needed and she hasnt used one for years at home). We watched lights Camera action which we all (especially hubby) thought was brilliant! Then lilo n stitch show - a good laugh when they took a pic of my eldest and pronounced her the best monkey impersonator! Finally toy story parachutes for our 6 year old and daddy (30 min wait) and flying carpets for me and 4 yr old (no wait). Now chilling in Cheyenne ready for our day in Paris tomorrow - fingers crossed the rain holds off
