Arrive in Orlando at 1am or stop before then?

We have about an 8 hour drive to Disney. We are leaving in November right after I get off work at 5. We could make it to Orlando aroud 1 AMish, but should we stop before then and finish our drive the next morning? Looking for suggestions from people who have done it both ways and found one way better. There will be no children in the car until we arrive at the WDW main gate (at which point DW and I turn into children), so that would not be a consideration.

If you're all adults (at least most of the time) then I'd drive the whole way here and then sleep in a bit the following morning. You can always take turns driving if the main driver gets too tired. I think when you wake up in the morning you'll be glad you've already arrived!

I agree. I would also much prefer to already be there, rather than stopping and having to drive some more in the morning, especially since your entire drive is only 8 hours.

Some may suggest that stopping would be a good idea since you could find somewhere cheaper to stay for that night (especially if you are staying on-site), however DH and I much prefer to get to our WDW hotel and get settled in. But whatever works best for you.
