Arrival time

We are driving down to disney in July, for first trip, staying at AKL. We should be getting to resort at about 1:00pm, we are not planning on doing a park that day. Will we be allowed to check in then, and wait for room, or do we have to wait until 3:00 checkin? We are only doing a standard room view. Thank you for any replies!

When we checked in at AKL our room was ready around 1:00. We enjoyed the rest of the day at the resort.

You can see if your room is ready. Sometimes when I don't care about our view, I will ask if another room is available at that time. We checked in at the GF at 7:00 am. I told the CM we would take anything available and we got a great room and view.

Thanks! We are planning to spend the afternoon around the hotel and maybe do a dinner somewhere else the first night. I don't think a standard view will be bad as long as we can see the animals elsewhere. Do you think the AKL will be very busy in July? My kids are hoping there will be alot of kids their ages...13 and 8. Thanks again!
