hi all:wave:
i hope that there is someone out there that can help me with this::yes::
those of you that travel with virgin on the 11.15 flight,what time roughly would you be actually in your resort(i know we all stay at differant places)we are staying at all star movies and was wondering what time we could expect to be there,just so that i maybe able to plan to do something for the evening if we are in the mood:D

thanks eve::MinnieMo

If you have a hire car could be there by 5.30pm if all goes smoothly. Not sure sbout arrival time if using Virgins transfer.
Claire ;)

Earliest we managed was 6.30pm. In later years with extra security checks its been more like 7.30pm. Depends on so many factors, its a hard one to estimate.

And, of course, that's local time. Your body may well feel as though it's still on UK time - around midnight.

I know the advice is always to adjust your watch to the local time at your destination as soon as you board the plane, but I still find it hard to overcome that feeling of exhaustion at the end of the flight. We're always too tired to do anything much at all on our first evening, but I know of other DISers who can party the night away ;)!

(Maybe it's an age thing......... :rolleyes: )

hi guys:wave:

thank you for taking the time to reply::yes:: it is hard to estimate i know but i was just wondering, it would be lovely if we were there by 5.30:D

we usually get the 11:15 flight from Gatwick and we have been know to checked in at our hotel on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, unpack our bag (only stayed for 1 night so wasnt much) freshened up and drove to Epcot and been walking under the 'Golf Ball' at 6pm - boy were we lucky.

Only happened the once though. At the end of February we were waiting for our luggage landside at 5:45. Just goes to show no reasoning to any of it really. Bit of a lucky dip.
Chances are you wont feel like doing much, possibly short walk and a snack - ready for Day 1 of the Magic.
