Hi everyone, sorry I have to ask I have been away from Disney for several years. I am now a Florida Resident (YAY) and took advantage of the Florida Resident Discount tickets and Hotels.

My question is what time can I arrive at the resort on check in day to park and grab a bus to the park? I know the room isn't ready early, and that is fine. I have never driven to a resort to stay I always had been on the DME.

Thanks!

Pretty dang early. I took a red eye flight and got to the resort at around 6 am and they had no problem holding my luggage until the room opened and letting me hop on the bus to the parks

Thank you that is what I was hoping!

You're a resort guest for the entire day of arrival, even if you haven't yet checked in or gotten into your room. You can park there as early as you like.

Welcome to Florida:) We moved from Michigan to the Orlando area way back in '84, then could not wait to move to our current home in the Florida panhandle back in '04.

The technical answer is 6AM, that is when the “day” changes for tapping in with a magic band. Practically, the gate person will let you in before that.

Thank you for the welcome. We have met many nice people so far. We are in Alafaya and it is the perfect distance to be away from the tourism and close to the parks. Love our area.
