Arrival time at Discovery Cove for non-dolphin swim???

What time should we plan on arriving at Discovery Cove for the day if we are not participating in the dolphin experience? I have read to get there as early as possible for the best dolphin swim times but if we are just planning on enjoying the park for the day-what time would you recommend?

Even without the dolphin swim, I would still recommend getting there early......by about 8:30 am.....so you have plenty of time to enjoy all the amenities of the park. Especially if its a first visit. You will be amazed at how quickly the day goes.

If you arrive around 8:30, you will have plenty of time to enjoy a nice, leisurely breakfast before heading to the aviary, grand reef, freshwater oasis, or lazy river. Getting to the aviary early is advantageous as the birds are hungry at that time of day (before all the guests have bombarded them with food) and will be very eager to eat.
