Heading to Disney on Sunday! This will be our first time going with magic bands and first time as APs so I am a bit unsure if our first stop should be Guest Relations at DS. I have completed online check-in and the APs that I purchased several months ago are linked to us in MDE. As this will be our first use of the APs, will I need to first visit a guest relations window to activate them, or can we go straight to the entry turnstiles at MK? Also same question for parking at MK that morning... will they let us through without paying the $20 either because we did online check-in or because we have linked (but yet unused) APs?

Thanks!

You can go to any Ticket Booth -or- Guest Relations to activate the APs.
1. You can do that, if you like.
2. Yes. All guests 18 yrs and older, must be present.
And, all guests 18 yrs and older must bring a legal photo ID.
3. Nope.
4. Maybe. If you AP has been activated, you won't have to pay.
If not, just take your parking receipt to Guest Relations when you get the AP activated and get a full refund.

Thank you! I appreciate the information.

If you are staying on-site at a Disney Resort (which I suspect you are since you've completed online check-in), you are entitled to free parking at the theme parks.
