What are your arrival night dining plans? Do you have a tradition?

I have a reservation at Chef Mickeys, but I might cancel. I'm trying to decide if we just eat at our resort, CB, and rest up for the next day.

Hoop Dee Doo Revue. It's a big, relaxing meal and the fun show really gets you into a Disney mood.

We are staying at pofq.. Probably just going to eat at the resort and get ready for our first full morning in the park..

I think Chef Mickeys is a fun arrival night - a chance to see all the characters the first day and get autographs and pictures before even going to the park. Love that and a monorail ride:)

We don't ever make plans since we don't even know what park we are going to on arrival day. Normally we get to our resort around 2:30 or 3 (we drive down from North Georgia). If our room is ready we will go ahead and go to the room and check it out and then normally if we are in a moderate we just go to the bus stop and get on the first bus to arrive. Then we ride a few rides, sometimes I'll grab a FB on the bus sometimes we just wing it. We will then just eat at whatever park we are at, I either grab an ADR on my phone or we grab a QS somewhere. If we are staying in a deluxe it's always an Epcot resort and that is a no brainer, we just go over to Epcot and again, I'll grab an ADR with my phone or we eat QS at one of the countries. We try to go during F&G and F&W so chances are we are just grabbing something from a booth.

We are doing Boma and are going to walk around the AKL. We might hit Magic Kingdom after for fireworks.

This trip we will be around 1 pm eating dinner that night at Whispering Canyon. We will probably then check out the other hotels in the area or just go to Disney Springs and walk around the shops. Then take the boat back to POR.

We eat at POR on our arrival night. My boys love the make-your-own salads so we take advantage of that to ensure we have an early night before we hit the parks bright and early in the morning!

We always eat at Raglan Road.

Normally we arrive on Sunday. Our next trip we arrive on Saturday. I am kind of dreading Disney Springs on a Saturday.

Arrival day for us is DS evening. We too always arrive on Sunday, so we usually don't make a ressie. Have eaten everywhere from Rain Forest to the hole in the wall bar to Raglan.

Depends on if it's a park day or not. We don't go to the park on arrival so we either go to Disney Springs for some nice atmosphere or chill out at the pool and eat at hotel

We usually skip eating at a TS on our arrival day and head to a park where we eat at CS. We have always used the DDP and that way we save a TS credit to eat at a signature place one night.

Literally in the same boat. arguing with myself if I should keep my chef Mickey reservation or to eat at shutters.

we usually settle in at the resort and eat there, especially this trip as we won't be to the resort (ASSp) until close to 5PM. Like the look of ASMu menu better than Sports so plan to eat over there and let the kids use the pool there too.
We have a PPO BOG ADR for the next morning so want to be up early and ready to go.

I have chef mickeys and 1900 park reserved right now, debating on which one to keep!

And while you have 2 ADR's some other family may not be able to get any. Please decide and cancel what you will not use.

OP Travel Day is very tiring. We usually hang close to our resort, explore, eat there and make it an early night.
Good Luck

We always to go Epcot on our arrival days (usually arrive around lunchtime since we drive down from south Georgia). Every trip, we make a reservation at a WS restaurant for arrival day dinner that we haven't tried or haven't eaten at in a long time.
