Arriving at the world Dec 1st. Flight does not arrive at MCO until 6:26pm. Staying at BCV. MK is opened until 1am. Question?? Would you get a hopper for that day?? I figure we would arrive at the BC around 8ish?? Do you think it would be a waste?? Or just forget it & have dinner at a resort & start the nxt day early. Looking for some suggestions?? TIA

The price for a park hopper is the same whether you have a one day ticket to a 10 day ticket.

So if you plan on using it all week, I would get it, but if you only plan on using it once - I would skip it.

Also, if you are just going to MK, I am not sure why you would need a park hopper pass. You are only going to one park, so you are good. You can go in the same park multiple times a day without a park hopper - you just cannot go to a different park.

Do you mean a hopper or add a day to the ticket? I'm big on going to the parks on arrival day, but getting in that late I'd probably skip it. I would figure, if your flight is on time and you are doing ME, that you are looking at probably 8:30 or maybe even as late as 8:45 by the time you get to BCV, get checked in and take a look at your room. Then assuming you are using Disney transportation, the earliest you could make it to MK, is probably around 9:30 and it might be closer to 10:00. I'd probably just have dinner at an area resort, enjoy the atmosphere in the area, and start the next day early. That is the parade taping day at MK and the day all the Pop Warner kids are arriving and we have been there that night, and there is a reason it is open to 1:00 a.m. It is pretty crazy and pretty crowded that night. I'm sure it will clear out quite a bit in the really late hours.

It depends on how long your flight is. We come from the Northwest, so are dealing with traveling all day, so we don't go on arrival day. We have done DTD or the Boardwalk, we are just to tired to make it worth the time, and find that going to bed earlier sets us up for a good first day in the park.

Now if your flight is only an hour or two, and you haven't been working with kids in school all day, then I would say it could be worth it.

Thanks, I was just deciding if I should buy a 6 or 7 day hopper. I guess adding the 7th day would be a waste for possibly only 3 hours of park time!!! I think we will just wait & do parks the following day. I forgot it was the start of Pop Warner week.. Thanks:)

I agree with previous posters- I would take some time and enjoy the hotel if you are awake, if not get to bed early and hit RD the next morning!!! Have a great vacation!

If you buy a 6 day ticket and then decided to go when you arrive it is not that much to add a day later on.

We always arrive from England at around 5:30pm after a nine hour flight, so we're in no fit state to go to a park on arrival night! We grab something for dinner, possibly make a quick trip to Walmart/Super Target and then bedtime!

It's like $10 per person to upgrade to a 7 day from a 6 day. So, if you get there and you're energized and want to go, then go on and upgrade your ticket later (don't forget to do it before you use your last day). If you get there and are tired -- skip it. We are rope drop people, so we would go to bed to be well rested for the next day. You might also catch a movie on the beach, which I assume they do at BCV.

Heck, that is still four or five hours of park time!! :cool1: You can get tons of stuff done in that time.

We always go to a park (usually MK) on our first night and we usually arrive around 5pm or so. :)
