Arrival day suggestions for SD?

How much time does your family need for San Diego Zoo and/or Sea World? We are going to be arriving at 1030am in San Diego. Our condo is 45 minutes north of San Diego. I was thinking we could possibly slip one of these activities in while in SD. We'd probably have 6 hours give or take 1. What do you all think? TIA

Doable. The airport is close to both (maybe closer to Seaworld by about 5 minutes). Depending on when you are coming to visit it might be hot mid-day so the animals at the zoo might be hiding in the shade. Seaworld doesn't have this problem, obviously.

That said I prefer the zoo over Seaworld.

However if your condo is 45 minutes north of San Diego you might want to do Seaworld on arrival day and then do the Wild Animal Safari Park on another day (also about 45 minutes north of San Diego).
