Arrival day plan

Unpack. Go to the pool. Have an adult beverage. My kids swim & have a snack. Then go to an ADR @ either our resort or DTD. It's a relaxing night as the next day it's up for RD to Wishes @ MK!

We are planning to arrive at the Poly late morning or early afternoon (just driving over from Universal) and having a no-parks day. Riding the monorail, renting boats to ride at Seven Seas Lagoon, pool time, early dinner at Hoop de Doo Revue (we have never experienced this before) and maybe watching the water pageant before bed are all possibilities. If they have marshmallows on the beach, too, that is always fun. Weather factors in, of course, but we are planning on playing it by ear largely. The dinner show is the only reserved item. Have fun!

We have gone to MK. Last year we were at AKL and didn't arrive until 4ish. We had an ADR at Boma and then the teens and I played bus bingo. We jumped the first bus which came and that was Epcot! It was kind of cool to be spontaneous.

We're flying in to MCO at noon (just a two hour flight from BWI, so it won't be a super early morning for us). Hope to get to Poly by 2:00. We're packing swimsuits in carry on in case our room isn't ready, so we'll hang out at the pool for an hour or two and have a snack (and a beer). 5:30 ADRs at Chef Mickey's, then a walk to MK for our first ever trip on 7DMT!
