We arrive in Orlando at 9:45 on Sunday Dec 14th. Evening EMH is at DHS that day, so we were planning on going there. Should we head to DHS as soon as we arrive and check in, or should we go to another park for a couple of hours? Do you think DHS is worth spending all day there? We do have ADRs at Sci-Fi at 7:15 that night.

Thanks in advance!

Personally I would keep it as simple as possible on the first day. With such an early arrival we would get tired by mid day.

I would go to the resort, pre-check in, have lunch and the head over to the park...hey, wait! That IS our plan ;) . We are staying at Pop but have ADRs at Kona and then we'll take the monorail to MK for a few hours.
You could have lunch at your resort or go to the BW/Y&BC area for a laid back meal. Then take the Friendship Launch to HS.

Check into your resort, grab a great lunch, and head to the park. There is plenty to keep you busy!

We usually arive at the same time and we will be getting in on Decmber 30th at 9:45. We take ME and will probably not be at the resort till 11:00, then head to DTD for earl of sandwich:thumbsup2 . We go back to SSR and have a swim, relax and get to bed early ( we usually start our travel day at 3:30 am ). The next morning we are up early and at one of the parks for rope drop :cool1:

Thanks for your replies... We are four 21 year olds, so we're planning on having a full day that day (and well...every day too!). What I was kind of wondering is does it make sense to go to DHS as soon as we arrive and stay there all day, or would our time be better spend going to another park as soon as we can and then headed to DHS later on in the day?
