Arrival Day - Monday, Saturday???

Just wondering when people usually arrive - which day? Wondering if most people arrive on Sunday, Monday, or Saturday, etc.???

Any thoughts on that?

We usually do Saturday but this year we are arriving on a Friday because the flight was cheaper!

We have normally arrived mid-week because the flights were cheaper, but in Nov. we are arriving on a Saturday for the 1st time.

We usually arrive on a Thursday or Friday. Never on Saturday or Monday!

Friday for us every time. For either WDW or Disney cruise, friday has always worked out best for us.

We are arriving on a Friday again this year! Flights were cheaper and it gives us all day Saturday to go to the parks!!!

almost always a thursday! i work 3 days/week and can move my days around to any three i want, so i will typically work mon/tues/wed and head out on thurs so as not to have to use any vacation time! same for returning, we typically head out on a monday or tuesday so i can still work a "full" week (for me) when i get home!

The first time I went, with my sisters, we arrived on a Monday. This time it's just hubby and I and we're arriving on a Sunday.

We usually fly on a Friday night after DH gets out of work so we can get a good start on Saturday. For our October trip, the flights were much cheaper if we went Thursday to Tuesday, so we're doing that.

I like flying in the night before. Once we flew first thing in the morning and we ended up blowing the day because our room wasn't ready when we arrived and by the time we had our act together, it was dinnertime. Last time we got in around 5 p.m. and went to Boma for dinner. A great kick-off to our trip. This time we get in around 9 so we'll go to bed and get ready for MK EMH!

We arrive on Sundays. Camp ends on Fridays, and I like to give myself that day in between to get ready.

We are coming on a Tuesday- it saved $200 for our family of 3 vs. a Saturday flight

We usually do Friday or early Saturday morning. But I have always flown into Palm Beach to visit my Great-Aunt and then drive up on a wednesday or thursday. This is our first time going since she passed away, and we are going on a sunday and heading to MNSSHP that night.

DVC'rs will usually arrive on a Sunday to avoid the high weekend costs.

We usually go Thursday to the following Friday. We've done Sat-Sat, Sun-Sun, Fri-Sat; and next trip we're doing Monday to the following Friday. We pretty much go with what works with out schedule.

We tend to arrive mid week because it just works out better for us being that our days off of work at mid week, its less paid time of we have to request if we add our days off into the vacation time.
Our next trip we will leave on Wensday and arrive home the following tuesday.

Another fan of the Thursday arrival. We usually can't wait to get to MK so we do that Friday, lounge around and eat a long leisurely dinner on Saturday, then hit the parks again Sun to Wed or Thurs. Last December we arrived on a Monday at AKL and got a room that did not agree with us, and it took forever to get moved because they were full to the rafters, I assume with all the people that arrived the w/e before. So it's back to Thur for us.

We're arriving this Friday. Last year, we went on a Sunday and in 2002, we went on a Monday!!! Sooo, it's different every time!!!!

We usually do Sat to Sat, but this time we are doing Wed. to Tuesday. The flights were cheaper on the weekdays, and the time frame worked out better with dh's work schedule.

b/c we drive, but this year we are flying and I was all set for monday, until I discovered that I have Sun off and flights are the same $$, and sunday afternoon flight is direct, so I am changing to arriving on Sunday evening.
