Hi campers ! We will be arriving early in the morning, around 6:00 am to 8:00 am. With check-in being at 1:00 pm, is there any chance we will be able to get in that early, or will we be waiting in the parking lot for a while ?
Also, do we just pull up in the check in lane when we arrive, or should we park in the lot, and walk up at first ?

FYI...We are heading to the fort in August.....

Just pull into the check in lane when you get there, you will have to go through security before that, just tell them you are checking in.

We have never arrived at that time, we are usually very early (3AM or so) or arrive around 1PM. You may get lucky but I wouldnt bet on it. Your best bet is to be prepared to park and wait.

I agree with bigdisneydaddy I would not count on it but you never know. You can park your rig and go off and have some fun, you dont have to hang out in the parking lot for hours. Guest services can tell you what park opens when and you can take a Disney bus from close by .

If your site is not ready, and at that time there is a prettygood chance it won't be, you will be checked in, told to park in the overflow lot and given a card with a telephone number on it to call later for your site assignment. Since you will be given your resort id, you can go to a park or just hang around.

We arrived last year at 10:30am and site wasn't ready, but they checked and found another one ready. I did see a lot of people waiting in overflow, this was first week of Dec.
