At what time is the best time to arrive at the port. I will be leaving Miami early and should arrive around noon would that be to early or late. At what time do they let you embark.......Thanks in advance.

We were on the 3-16 (and it was the BEST)...TTC dropped us off about 11am....we sat around in the terminal for a while.....they started boarding about 12:15 or so....being early is not bad!!!!!
Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will be fine arriving at noon at the Port. Once they start boarding the ship, the line moves right along and before you know it you will find yourself enjoying the embarkation buffet!! :)

Last time we cruised (which was our first Disney Cruise) we arrived at the port at about 1pm which is when the literature says you can board. If only we had known we could have arrived a little earlier. When we arrived the check-in lines were really, really long. Once we did check in we just walked on board. I remember that we did not even know there was lunch on board, we didn't eat anything and didn't even know that had occurred. Our cabin was ready and we dropped our stuff off. It seems like we just wandered around a bit and then it was time for the drill.

We will not be doing the ressie scramble as Palos and spa don't really interest us but I plan to arrive about 12 for our next cruise. Do you think 12 is a good time to avoid the worst crowds? Or should we shoot for even earlier. We will have a car so we are in control of our arrival.

Thanks!

in a driving rainstorm for our 2/23 "Magical" cruise and in our own car as well. There seemed to be a rush of folks arriving around 12 to 12:30 and don't know how much the weather may have contributed, but it took us probably 15 minutes to get off the entry drive through the gate and up to the terminal baggage drop off. Parking lot is across from the terminal once you drop your luggage off and about 150 yds. back to the terminal. Up on deck eating lunch about 1:30, there was no line to drop off luggage. If you're going to get Palo reservations, you probably don't want to wait much past 1 to try getting to the terminal. Check-in went pretty fast, probably 20 minutes which included waiting in line for all the paperwork and waiting for the next wave to board.
