arrival at the pier

WHat time do we need to arrive at the pier? We usually get there arround 10:00. I read someones recent trip report that said it was packed at 10:00. What time do they usually open the doors? thanks Jill

We are taking the Radisson shuttle to the pier and when I made the reservations I told them I wanted to be on the first shuttle over and guessed at 10:00. He said that the pier is opened at 10:30 therefore the first shuttle leaves at 10:30. I do not know if this is exactly true but thats what I was told about 3 weeks ago.

For the Disney Magic May 1st cruise we arrived at 10:00 A.M. and they directed us to the day parking lot until 10:30.

We took a towncar transfer from our MCO hotel to the port. The transfer picked us up at about 9:20 and we got to the port at about 10:15. The transfer dropped us off at the parking lot where the cars/shuttles drop off/pick up. A CM was there who took care of our luggage and we walked over to the building to get in line to check-in.

W've never arrived any earlier than 10:30, and usually more like 11. But the Magic's line starts building a lot earlier than the Wonder's, so I'd aim early if I was sailing a 7-day.
